"Their pale skin shined in the light of a big bonfire that formed a circle around them. There was a small passage in the bonfire that allowed you to enter their circle.
'Don’t be afraid. Come to us,' they whispered in their enchanting voices.
I was once again spellbound. The amulet was burning as wildly as the bonfire as I stepped into the circle. The smell of burning moss mixed with something else. Blood.
'I can see you’ve found my amulet. Thank you for bringing it back to me, my dear,' the first ghost smiled and revealed her sharp teeth."

The Earth ghosts are haunting the woods of a small village in the Early Middle Ages, prolonging their lives by drinking wolf blood. The weaver's daughter encounters these devil's creatures on a quest to find her brother. She finds something that's not hers to keep, and her punishment will forever change her life.

This is the first of three short stories about Agnes the weaver's daughter.

"She bared her sharp teeth and inhaled deeply through her mouth. A white, smoke-looking mist rose from the man’s skin, and the woman sucked it into her lungs. She was eating a part of him, but he didn’t seem to be affected by it, though, as he was still in a trance."

Agnes is paying for her sins in the hidden palace of the Earth ghosts. She's forced to hide a forgotten treasure as it threatens to prolong her punishment, but the magical object reveals a disturbing secret about what's yet to come and how the world is about to change.

The Rings of the last Earth Ghosts continues the story of Agnes the weaver's daughter from The Amulet of the last Earth Ghosts.

"A mist rose from my skin, just like what had happened to the men in the vision, but this time, the Earth ghost didn’t eat it. Instead, the mist was sucked into the crystal. It didn’t hurt, but I felt strangely empty afterward – almost like a part of me was missing."

Agnes and Isolda, the weaver's daughters, are close to freedom after being held trapped by the Earth ghosts for years. They've only got one thing left that the ghosts want from them, and their freedom is going to cost them dearly. Meanwhile, the world is about to break in two and a new dimension is in the making.

The Crystal of the last Earth Ghosts is the final chapter of the story about the blood-drinking creatures of the woods and the weaver's daughters.
